Does manual data entry and paper workflows slow your organization down? Today, we’re collaborating with Formstack partner and integration gurus Venn Technology to provide a solution to one of your most irksome paper workflows: invoicing.

In today’s demo, we’ll walk through how to:

  • Add your customized Formstack Documents invoice template to Salesforce
  • Establish a trigger to send invoices when an Opportunity is set to Won
  • Expand this workflow using Workato to connect your accounting software

This tutorial was inspired by Venn Techology’s own invoice generation workflow. In this example, we’re using Salesforce data to generate our invoices, but you can also use tools like Workato to connect to accounting software like Quickbooks or Sage Intacct

If you get started with a Formstack Documents for Salesforce template or have already built your own, set up for this workflow will only take about 10-15 minutes

If you’d like to build a more complicated use case, check in with our Professional Services team. They’re always ready to help you realize your vision.

This workflow uses Formstack Documents for Salesforce and Salesforce.com. You can expand this workflow by looping in Workato or your preferred accounting software
